Trout Recipes

Well there are oodles of trout recipes... The way I was first told to cook up my trout out on the camp fire was to simply spread out a piece of aluminium foil. After having gutted the trout, you lay the trout out on the foil, sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper, pour some lemon juice over the fish. Slice up an onion and cover the fish over and under with onion rings. Fold up the aluminum and either place over the camp fire, barbeque or in your oven and cook. The result is a moist trout, very natural and tasty. If you have any difficulty with this, then please come out to New Zealand, we will go fishing and I will cook the trout for you - believe me it is beautiful...
You may like to add some Tamari Soy Sauce for a little extra flavour and sprinkle some herb like fresh basil over the trout as well...
